“I think it’s awful, it’s an ugly eyesore,” complains a San Diego resident of a commissioned mural by Barry McGee directly across from City Hall. Looks like the controversy will never end when it comes to the debate between “graffiti and art”


We have a perfect response to this masquerade preening as art -fight art with art.
Hot, sizzling, performance art-




Which we in India do so well. No American hippie graffiti artist can stand up to it.

HIPHOP IS OUR CULTURE; for you to say the graffiti was done by some hippie graff kid is INCREDIBLY racist and insulting; it was done by some FOR REAL thugs you wouldn't even look at sideways! If you don't like the look and feel of hiphop art, look around you while you still can because in 30 years this will be OUR nation; there will be a hiphop president and your old ways of viewing BLACK culture will be as far in the past as Hitler. You have no standing to speak on our culture; keep you comments to yourself and leave our culture alone
