I have always wondered at how normal, apparently rational people are only too willing to suspend not only logic but plain common sense when it comes to art.
For example, I used to wonder as a kid why something like this 'Bindu' should be considered great art. After all these years , I still have not found a rational explanation. Just what is it that makes it 'great'? Surely, little talent or skill is required to paint this(if you do not believe this , try painting something like this yourself.You will find that even a novice can do this in a few attempts) , so it must be something else. Just what?
